IABC/Toronto members only! The call for mentor/mentee applications is now running until October 7!

Are you new to the communications world and looking for some insight on the field, or an experienced practitioner looking to give back to the communicators of tomorrow? IABC/Toronto’s Mentorship Program has something for you. Participating in the program is a great opportunity to connect with industry peers while learning and sharing experiences. The 2011/2012 call for mentor and mentee applications is open from September 6, 2011 until October 7, 2011 and takes only moments to apply.

The mentorship program offers a structured matching program for mentors and mentees, and once you apply, we do the work to find you a match that’s best suited to you. Participation in the program is free, includes a match meet and greet event, and a few one-on-one meetings (in person or over the phone) that the partners will arrange individually.

If you’re interested in participating in the program, we encourage you to visit the mentorship section of the IABC/Toronto website. There you’ll find more details about the IABC/Toronto mentorship program, and application forms for both interested mentors and mentees. Forms will be available between September 6th and October 7th, and are easily submitted via an online survey. Check it out today!

About TOTEM

“TOTEM traces the fascinating journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. The characters evolve on a stage evoking a giant turtle, the symbol of origin for many ancient civilizations. Inspired by many founding myths, TOTEM illustrates, through a visual and acrobatic language, the evolutionary progress of species. Somewhere between science and legend TOTEM explores the ties that bind Man to other species, his dreams and his infinite potential.”

Performances run from August 10th to October 9th.
