Learn How to Make it Happen at the IABC/Toronto Annual General Meeting

Tuesday, June 28, 2011, 6 to 9 p.m., The Faculty Club, University of Toronto, Upper Dining Room, 41 Willcocks Street, Toronto

Featuring: Gus Takkale, Keynote Speaker and best-selling author of 5C’s in Change and the newly released The Road: A Journey through the 5C’s of Change.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the IABC/Toronto will include a presentation designed to help you maximize your potential and acquire new skills that create energy, enthusiasm and innovation. First, IABC/Toronto members who attend the AGM will hear about the accomplishments and progress of this year’s board, vote to elect our 2011/2012 Board and hear a message from our incoming president. 

Then, thanks to our sponsor CNW Group, change management expert Gus Takkale will inspire IABC members with his keynote presentation entitled Make it Happen: Embrace Change…and Thrive on it.  Copies of Gus’ latest book, The Road: A Journey through the 5C’s of Change, will be available at special IABC pricing and Gus will be available for book signing after the presentation.

The AGM is open to IABC/Toronto members. The evening will begin at the University of Toronto’s Faculty Club with a barbecue and cash bar. Registration is free, but attendees are encouraged to bring a book for donation.

Announcing IABC/Toronto's new board slate for 2011/2012

IABC/Toronto's board is elected each year at its annual general meeting. All current members are invited to attend the meeting and vote on the new slate. The Annual General Meeting is scheduled for June 28, 2011.

The 2011/2012-board year runs from July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012.
