The Secret to Engaging Employees: How to Bridge the Great Divide and get your employees' buy-in (evening seminar)

Never before has there been such a diverse workforce driving business. Each generation in your workplace is hearing your message through its own generational filter. Each generation has different issues that are important and people want to hear the message in their own way – text, video, email, phone call or face-to-face. Add in weak management practices and the reluctance of the C-suite to be more forthcoming, and you have difficulties that intensify during times of change and turmoil.

What is the solution? IABC/Toronto presents an in-depth look at different perspectives of communicating with employees and how organizations can build and maintain a loyal, motivated and focused work force that will survive good and bad times.

  • Laurie Smith of CNW Group will discuss how to prepare your leadership team and direct them on how to communicate during times of challenge and change.
  • Leah Reynolds will present the business rationale for adapting communication practices to be in line with changing generational perspectives and discuss what communicators need to do in order to stay in step with changing times.
  • Donna Papacosta of Trafalgar Communications will take you on a quick tour of Web 2.0 and show you how it is transforming employee communications.
Register for this event now if you want and need to win the politics of employee communication. Effective communication is the foundation for an effective organization.
