| IABC/Toronto adds three new awards to recognize exceptional communications work |
This year, IABC/Toronto is pleased to announce it will be handing out three new awards at the 2009 OVATION Awards Gala. These new awards are based both on the number of winning entries won per organization/individual and a point system to ensure quality wins over quantity.
No additional entry work or fee is required for companies who have already entered and/or are still planning to enter.
The three new awards are:
1. Corporate Communications Department of the Year
2. Agency of the Year (10 or more employees)
3. Independent Practitioner or Small Agency of the Year (nine or less employees)
How winners of these three new awards are determined:
Each Award of Excellence will earn three points and each Award of Merit will earn one point. Companies in each of the three new award categories with the highest total number of points will win. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined based on the higher average score of the company’s Excellence Awards.
Questions/Comments about these three new awards:
Please direct to the VP, Awards, Trell Huether.
