Volunteer Opportunities With AIP
Like IABC, AIP is run by volunteers. By volunteering, you can contribute to AIP's success while expanding your network and building your profile.
See the roles and responsibilities of AIP's executives.
Here are some additional ways that AIP could use your assistance:
- Helping the Program co-Directors develop backup programming (find alternate speakers or AIP members with expertise in a certain topic in case of a last-minute speaker cancellation)
- Finding and booking meeting space
- Organizing refreshments
- Making telephone calls to encourage members to attend an upcoming meeting
- Maintaining a resource list that would include potential speakers and resources with expertise not found in AIP
- Writing meeting reports for the AIP Connection
- Coordinating arrangements for the annual pool party (collect RSVPs, make telephone reminders, arrange food)
- Coordinating arrangements for our annual holiday party, held after the December meeting (find/book a venue, collect RSVPs, make telephone reminders)
- Providing graphic design assistance for advertisements, PowerPoint presentations and other material.
