Practising communicators are responsible for acting ethically and morally. To guide communicators, IABC developed its Code of Ethics for Professional Communicators.
The code is based on three different, yet interrelated principles of skilled communications - that apply throughout the world - whereby the communication functions that are undertaken are legal, ethical and in good taste.
For real-life examples of ethics in business communication, read a series of articles that have appeared in IABC/Toronto's Communicator newsletter.
