IABC/Toronto Reverse Mentoring Professional Development Panel Discussion

November 20, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

First Canadian Place Gallery, 1 The Path – First Canadian Place, Toronto, ON M5H 1P9

Join us for an evening of non-traditional mentorship, where freshly-educated young minds will be discussing their insights, views and options on all things communications. Students and senior communicators alike are invited to attend for an opportunity to learn and ask questions about what future communicators are will be bringing to the workforce. What new and emerging digital trends are on their radar? What is their opinion of the communications landscape? What are their career trajectory plans? We’ll be tackling these hot topics and more…

Featured Moderator: Rohini Mukherji, VP Integrated Communications, APEX PR

About two weeks into her PR agency career, Rohini knew that she had been reeled in for the long haul. Lucky enough to work on both the B2C and B2B sides of the business, across sectors including insurance, banking, air transportation, fitness and food & beverage, Rohini has experience working on a vast range of integrated programming that incorporates everything from ‘traditional’ PR to influencer content co-creation to digital media.

Her instinct to ‘nerd out’ on the industries in which her clients operate has served her well in building award-winning, integrated programming that is just as effective as it is fun to execute with the team. She can often be found working with communications students or new professionals in the industry, giving tours of the APEX office and offering tips and guidance on putting your best foot forward in your career.

Outside of the office, you can find her planning her next vacation, giving her colleagues dinner recommendations, taking a cooking class, or throwing competitive darts, just for fun.
