Join IABC/Toronto for an evening of networking and stimulating conversations with top communicators from across the GTA.

Jenny Shin is the president and CEO of Milestones Public Relations, a boutique Toronto PR agency with a roster of lifestyle, corporate and small business clients. Jenny was driven to start her firm in part due to her desire to place pro-bono work and community development at the core of her practice. Milestone Public Relations has built a business by giving back to the community and Jenny sees community involvement as being critical to retaining top talent and tier one clients.

Susan Schutta is a leading Canadian communications executive, with experience in technology, retail and consulting. She’s joined Revera, one of Canada’s most innovative senior living providers. In her role with Revera Susan has found that digital engagement is still critical for those over 65, but how we target this population needs to change.

Wojtek Dabrowski is the founder and managing partner of Provident Communications Inc. Wojtek is an expert-level communications leader with a proven track record of protecting and enhancing global brands and delivering sound strategic communications counsel to senior executive leaders. He’ll discuss how to build successful CEO influencer programs to drive communication and business success.

 

Harness the power of thought leadership to drive your brand

Maliha Aqeel is the assistant director, brand, marketing and communications for EY and the president of IABC/Toronto. She will discuss how thought leadership can drive material business results and work to enhance your company’s most valuable asset – its brand. In her role with EY Maliha leads efforts to profile the work and insights of EY’s professionals.

 

Creating media strategies that protect and enhance the brand

Michael MacMillan is executive vice president at Provident Communications Inc. and has extensive experience working with consumer and B2B brands to develop strategic communication programs that support business goals. He’ll talk about the importance of media training to prepare executives and senior leaders to make the most of important corporate milestones and defend against negative storylines.
