She established her business, Patricia Davies Communications, following a distinguished career in journalism as an editor at The Globe and Mail and as a senior features writer for such Canadian magazines as Report on Business Magazine, Canadian Business, Chatelaine and Canadian Living.

In her Real Words Workshops, Patricia passes on her years of experience to help participants learn the best practices of good writing so they never hear these words again: “I’m not quite sure what you’re getting at here.” Her expanding list of offerings now includes Straight to the Point, in which managers, professionals and “next-generation” leaders learn how to summarize reports and proposals into a focused, brief story for decision-makers and other stakeholders.
