PIC Volunteers

How can you expand your network, build your own profile and contribute to PIC’s success? Become a volunteer! Just like IABC/Toronto, PIC is run by volunteers, so why not help Toronto’s community of independent communicators and yourself at the same time?

To give you an idea of what we do, check out the roles and responsibilities of PIC’s executives.

How can you contribute and benefit?

• Help the program director develop programming by finding speakers or PIC members with expertise in a certain topic, especially in case of a last-minute speaker cancellation.
• Find and book a venue, organize food and refreshments, or demonstrate your event management skills.
• Write up event reports for the PIC newsletter; showcase your writing skills.
• Provide graphic design assistance for advertisements, PowerPoint presentations and other material; let others see your design skills.
• Help PIC execute its marketing plans and get the word out about our group.
